Maybe Manmohan & Sonia ji may have lost some sleep .. but the North Block mandarins are in deeeep s-l-u-m-b-e-r and one can hear their loud sneering between 10 to 5 while walking thru' the roads !!

It is quite natural for UPA government to lose sleep due to high inflation especially as Loksabha polls are due and may face cances of losing power. Incompetent Government is responsible for this. Inflation is mainly due to corruption, pumping of fake currency innthe country and unnecessary expenses. Corrupt are protected because of power and money and honest are punished and this is also
the reason for growing inflation. As per today's report in Deccan Herald there was a case on Mallikarjuna Kharge for entering the jail with money for bribing voters in Chamundeswaru by-polls. The case was quashed on the flimsy grounds that police has not obtained the statutory permission from jurisdictional magistrate. Can this be called valid reason to protect a corrupt politician when the same politicians loudly declare " ALL ARE EQUAL BEFORE LAW ". Here the serious and relevant case of giving bribe to voters is sidelined and prior permission hsas become prominent. This is a tip of the iceberg of typical Indian criminal politics. When P Chidmbaram was FM during 1997, he loudly declared there is plenty of black money due to corruption and without caring to confiscate and punish the corrupt, protected the corrupt by his ridiculus VDS scheme, which only gave protection and flourishing of corrupt. When such politicians are ruling how can corruption be avoided. In Karnataka Lokayukta Justice Santhosh Hegde is losing sleep in fighting and exposing corrupt but he is not given powers to process cases inspite of all people except politicians know corruption is cancer of economy. In such circumstances how can inflation be avoided.

The prices of all the essential commodities have risen from 100% to 1000% in many cases. A common man food, clothes and shelter is important of which the food and shelter have become dearer to him. This needs to be arrested.
